The Wharton Undergraduate Consulting Club (WUCC) connects Penn students from all schools and majors to the consulting industry by providing opportunities to network with important contacts, practice case interviews, and learn about consulting firms through shadowing trips, company presentations, and private dinners. Our panels and events explore such topics as what consulting entails, the differences between consulting and investment banking, and tradeoffs of working with boutique firms. We would like to invite you to our Spring General Body Meeting next Monday, March 1, to learn more about our events, programs, and how you can get involved with WUCC. Applications will be distributed for members seeking to join Technology Consulting Committee or Publication Committee.

Alonso Martinez has 26 years of consulting experience and was formerly a Vice President of Booz & Co, one of the leading strategy and technology consulting firms. He has advised global international companies that are also household names such as Pepsi, Kraft, Clorox and Proctor & Gamble.

Alonso Martinez’s current focus is doing research, teaching and advising clients about business strategies to capture and foster growth in Emerging Markets. He is directing a project at the Wharton School’s Lauder Institute on “Riding Development Patterns: Leveraging the Latin American Experience in Other Emerging Markets”, which is jointly sponsored by Booz & Company. He is also currently advising clients on large global acquisitions and cross border alliances.
